It is a temple that is reportedly opened by Mr.Hōjyō Shiota. In old days
it was called Senjō-ji, it was the last temple of "Kamakura Kenchō-ji".
A formal black gate and the Zelkova tree of tree age 600 are brilliant.
In the bell tower building, a temple print "Three scales" which
is a crest of Mr.Hōjō is decorated. In the precincts, there is Rakan-dō,
there are 16 statues of Rakan-buddha.
Also, if you make a reservation you can taste the Buddhist vegetarian
food of the edible wild plants (2 types of 1,600 yen and 2,000 yen. The period is from March to November). |
